Orientation: east – west

Grape harvest: grapes-picking usually begins in the first ten days of september. It is strictly did by hand with a selection in the vineyard of better bunch of grapes and trasnport to the wine cellar in small chests

Wine-making: fermentation takes place with controlled temperature (28°-30° C) in stainless steel tanks with long maceration times (15-25 days) and with alternation of wine taking from the barrel bottom to maintain umid the grapes peel in fermentation and delestage to favour the best extraction of colouring substances and noble tannins

Refinement: it is carried out in stainless steel vats in which is completed the malolactic fermentation

Colour: intense red ruby with deep red reflections

Smell: the aroma, intense and at the same time elegant, reminds smells of raspberry and mature red berries: winy in youth, it evolves with time towards spicy sensations

Taste: generous, fruity and full-bodied: in the mouth it appears well-structured, with a pleasing persistance and depht.

Grape type : Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot - Cabernet Franc - Syrah

Plant density : 2 mt x 0.80 mt

Harvest : picking begins during the first ten days of September. Hand picking and selection in the vineyard and transport to the cantina in small (20 kg) crates.

Wine making : fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (28°-30° C), with a long maceration period (15-20 days) and the alternation of the wine to maintain a damp must in fermentation. This is done to enhance the extraction of of natural colouring and noble tannin.

Rectification : 12 months in french oak barriques.

Colour : Intense ruby red with purple reflections.

Aroma : Intense, full and elegant with hints of rasberry and wood fruits. Winey when young it develops spicy overtones with ageing.

Flavour : Full bodied, sapid and generous. Well structured with a pleasent persistence.

Serving temperature : 16 - 18°C

Alcohol : 13,5%

Serving suggestions : equally suitable with fish (fried) and shell dishes.

Serving temperature : 10 - 12°C

Alcohol : 12,5%
